Welcome to the Blue Wave Aquatic Club.
We have just started our summer season, but it is not too late to join!!! Please contact Coach Michelle Braden at mbraden@bwacswim.org or (574)596-0297.
Our season looks like it will be great!!! Already tonight at the end of a hard practice, we had best times from multiple swimmers. The coaches can't wait for our first meet on May 12th.
We had a great turnout of new swimmers this season adding 22 new club swimmers and more are still considering. Please welcome these new parents and introduce yourself when you see them in the stands.
We are looking for a parent member who likes to plan events and socials. If you feel like you might fit this role, please contact Coach Michelle.
Last season, the team finished 31st at the Age Group State meet in Indy, with the girls placing 16th. For the summer, we already have some swimmers qualified or the state meet.

Last season our state swimmers included:
Sydney Dygert, August Hartzell, Elizabeth Mejia, Gracie Himes, Alexa Swingendorf, Tyler Rouch, Liam O'Neil, Luiz De Miranda Leao, Becca Hasler, Erik Huang, and Aesa Shelton.
We also have one Zone qualifier, August Hartzell. The Zone meet is the next step up from the state meet. Last summer, Coach Michelle was one of the coaches for team Indiana at this meet and August was able to attend zones as an 11 year old. This summer she will be a veteran and hopefully we can add more Blue Wave swimmers to this list so she can help show them the way. If you have any questions about this meet, please ask the coaches.
This Memorial weekend, Coach Michelle was picked to be one of four coaches to work with the world renown coach, Bob Steele, at our state's age group elite camp.
As we continue growing and maturing as a club, we hope to add many more names and meets to this list. For a club finishing it's second year, these results have been amazing and we can't wait to see what our Blue Wave swimmers do next.
The Blue Wave Aquatic Club, a non profit club, is run by its elected Board of Directors which meets each month. All members are encouraged to be involved in team activities and fundraisers.
We are constantly growing and training young swimmers to maintain a well rounded competitive swim team. Thank you for joining us. We are looking forward to meeting you!!!
